After doing some research, it looks as if the XKR body is pretty much identical from 2007-2012. Doors, Fenders, Frame, hood etc is all the same part numbers.

My plan is to get a wrecked 2009 and throw on the 2012 XKR-S bumpers, fenders, hood and headlights. Anyone think there would be an issue with this?

And how much power can you really get out of the 4.2 supercharged? Any wy to get 500 rear wheel? I've only seen a site or two that offers upgrades, usually they are an air filter, exhaust, pulley and tune and produces about 70hp?

 

There are a few est. conversion tables that give you a rough est on crank HP to rear wheel HP. A guess would be about 100HP difference. So the 510 Crank HP is around 410-420 at the rear wheels.

 

500 rwhp is pretty ambitious in a 4.2 model. It would be cheaper to buy a 5.0 then to mod the 4.2 that much.
