Hi, the entertainment console on my XKR is no longer turning on when i start the car, trying to switch it on manually also doesnt work (screen remains black, also unable to control aircon). could this be just a blown fuse issue or potentially something more serious?

 

It could simply be the battery! please see threads on this. Low battery voltage causes all sorts of issues that seem unrelated...if your battery is the original one, replace it. If the car is not used almost daily, fit a battery minder to it and use it! BUT it may also be this: screen problems can be caused by the surrounding bezel fitting too tightly against the screen. There is a Jaguar bulletin on this, I think.
