2009 XKR streaming music?
Hi all, I am looking at buying 2009 XKR that has a USB and an iPod connection in the center console. Will the USB allow a connection to the cars audio system to play music from my Android phone? What will I need to do to accomplish this?
Thanks!
Thanks!
The USB in the console will happily read a properly formatted USB memory stick, but will not work for an android phone as there are too many paths and directories to follow. So, no streaming. Just files.
If you try an old iPud or such, you need the OLD cRapple cord as the new ones won't work. 30-pin I think???
There are several options though, like the Bovee system and a complete TSD and surrounding area replacement.

Actually, that shouldn’t be a big deal. Make sure you copy your favorite tunes on a USB and go.
However, streaming won’t work, and be aware of the work-arounds. Many of them just don’t give you the quality you’d probably expect.
