Default 2010 XK vs Car Trailer

Hello all,
I'm about to move out of state and the XK is going to have to come along via trailer. Has anyone here loaded a XK on the typical Uhaul type car trailer? Were there issues with clearance when driving it on? Thanks in advance. Also I know there are other ways to transport cars but this is the easiest way available to me in the time frame I need.

Having put my race car (and many others) on numerous trailers, I do know that tandem axle trailer fenders usually impede opening the car doors once loaded. Also, the tilt of the trailer and ramps is critical to prevent high-centering or nose-scraping the car.

Thanks Cee Jay. I decided to not trailer it and enjoy the 1200 mile trip in it instead of the uhaul truck.

For future reference, I just used a uhaul car trailer for a 300 mile trip during a move across Florida. Zero problems. Car loaded and unloaded easily.

The trailer has drop down fenders to ease getting in and out.

It was a deal to rent for $59.

Good luck!

If I were to transport a vehicle personally, I would use my flat-bed dual axle trailer.

I transported my formula race car all over the southwest racing. Easy to load and unload.

A flat-bed trailer will support the weight of a Jaguar XKR without any problems, and is quite easy to tow.
