Not a fan of the tacky chrome trim around the front and rear lights.

Yes, the bid is now $33,300.00. However many eBay bidders have big bidding cojones until they get close to the reserve. Then they fade away. Fun to watch.

Maybe nitpicking, but the seller lists "ceramic brakes". That could have been an interesting upgrade. His receipt lists semi-metallic pads, not even ceramic pads let alone ceramic "brakes". I little too much bling for me too.

I noticed that and feel that picking nits is appropriate when buying a car like this. I quit bidding on the car, as I decided going all they way to Calif. did not make sense for me from here in Joisey. Think I'd rather buy an original car and have the mods done for me.

Yeah, CA a hike from NJ, and then getting it back. I bought a 2010XKR form ebay a couple of years ago. I'm in NJ too, and seller was in KY. 0ne way plane ticket (optimistic) and a 10 hr drive back. Worked for me, but I wouldn't have gone as far as CA.

I would have been fine with the PO doing the mods, and advertising them as upgrades. But calling new brake pads and rotors upgrades, even if slotted rotors aren't really my definition of upgrades.

Well it did not sell. Last bid was $33,300 against a buy it now of $36,500. This suggests to me that buyers had some concern about the modifications and possible flogging over the years. Or they were just cheap bast###s.

cheap bastids. ebay motors is a known value shopping (see also: bottom feeder) place for car sales. it is the rare exception that a nice car goes for correct money. some say ebay motors is representative of the market but I reject that.

this car may be worth $36k but it needs a buyer to look at and touch it

that said it was only 10% away from the sellers ask.
