2010 XKR Restricted power and check engine light
I have a 2010 XKR with 60k miles. It has been maintained immaculately. Recently the restricted power and check engine light came on and the car had the following symptoms.
1. Loss of power
2. Severe miss
3. White smoke from the exhaust that smells like raw fuel
The car made it the mile I had to drive it to get home. After further inspection the fluid levels are good, no leaks and all belts intact. When I removed the oil filler cap it smelled more like fuel than oil but the internals that were visible were clean. I ordered a OBD scanner and the following codes were present. PO302, PO304, PO306, PO308. It appears that one whole side of the engine has a misfire in all cylinders. Is there a common element in these cars that would cause this? Any thoughts or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Stuck Injector! Like, a 95% chance that it is.
I had mine do exactly this two years ago, and one injector was stuck open, which dumped raw fuel down that cylinder, which effectively starved the other three injectors on that side. The fuel smell in the oil is a big indicator.
The price for my repair was like $2000, but I also had all four on the affected bank replaced and all eight new spark plugs. Oh, and I also had the transmission pan dropped and replaced (my pan and fluid, took 9 quarts).

Defo all the even numbered cylinders, I would have said it was the catalytic convertor on the fritz of that side...but you've reported fuel smells and not rotten eggs.
So CJ is probably right and it's a stuck injector.
You can get the injectors new this side of the pond for around £100 each, one ebay listing stateside seems quite reasonable, they have 3 up for sale:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Jaguar-F-...IAAOSwkXFb8TdL
Just confirm with your dealer that part C2D45736 is right for your car
Also you might need the refitting kit part no C2D24387
My local mobile mechanic has quoted me £70 to remove and refit mine (I was sending them away for cleaning/calibration when I go on holiday in October) and using another car for the airport run.
PS: Google can be your friend too

What Cee Jay said. It has happened to me twice with exactly the same symptoms and each time was the injectors. It is a reasonably common occurance with the 5.0L V8 as it has been reported on the F-type forum for the R model numerous times as well.
$1400 USD. Had all 4 on that side replaced and an oil change. They did try to talk me out of another $1100 on the other side to replace all of those also but I’m hoping this is a rare issue and declined. Of all the cars I’ve owned this is my first injector issue. Thanks for the help again.
