2010 XKR self leveling headlights
My self leveling function stopped and light are directed into opposite directions.. any ideas as to start checking what the problem might be and if there’s any fix
I didn't look through the above noted threads, but my son's 2007 had messed up Adaptive Lighting. Turns out the Ride Height Sensor on the front had gotten wonky and bent. We straightened it out and aligned it correctly and all was well.
Course I don't know if that's your problem, but it only takes a few seconds to look at that sensor.

There are a ton of posts on the subject. Some questions that may help narrow down the cause:
- Is your adaptive headlight warning light on in the dash? If yes, the car recognizes that there is a control fault, so that points towards the sensors or modules. If not, it is a fault in the headlight itself.
- Is it one or both headlights? If one, a fault in that headlight or the control unit mounted to it. If both, maybe the height sensor or the overall AFS control module.
