Thanks in advance for the thoughts. 2011 XKR with about 20k miles. Just started having a very noticeable acceleration hesitation at 1500 rpms. No codes and nothing else out of the ordinary? I'll probably throw in some Techron fuel cleaner for starters. Any thoughts?
Engine hesitation or motion hesitation?
It's usually 60k miles, but at 9 years the tranny fluid may be toasty.
Just a thought.........
Oh, also "Air Filter" and related, such as MAF sensors.
Could also try the ole "Hard Reset" as that does a lot sometimes. Other times not so much.
See if you can replicate the issue using paddle shifters in different gears. Then do it again in sport mode. That way you can at least illiminate transmission.

so has the issue been solved? I have an XJ 5.0 SC with the exact same issue you described. I tried changing the fuel filter, transmission fluid and filter, and intake hose. Still the issue persists.
would appreciate your feedback!
Surprised to not see throttle body in that list.
If it was fine and now there is low rpm hesitation, a dirty throttle body can be the culprit.
Also, not knowing the history, I’d be doing a system reset, then an italian tune up.

Throttle body was cleaned, in fact. Can you clarify the system reset and “italian” tuneup?
Italian tuneup is find a quiet long stretch of road and redline it in all 6 gears!!
LOL! Will I’ll tell you this. I did just that — thinking it could be carbon trapped somewhere. It did improve things— momentarily. One day later, it bogged back.
it is increasingly annoying for me as, amongst over a dozen cars that I’ve owned over the years, this is by far the car I love the most.
1 disconnect the battery
2 touch negative and positive cable together to discharge and charged component
3 reconnect battery
4. DRIVE her so she can relearn your preferences. At least 16 kms.
(see the section “Changing the vehicle battery” in your owners manual. It describes the process of resetting some components)
