2012 XKR Security System "Lock Down" help

Thanks Jack. Looks like Jag Dallas may be newer. And there is no longer a Park Place Jag in Dallas. That's what I get for assuming things don't change. Now I know there's options. I'll post what the resolution turns out to be.

How did this resolve? what was the final correct diagnosis & fix? I currently have this problem on a 2011 XJ. My battery died while locked. Followed the manual, key unlock door, op0en hood, apply power to engine fuse box to use remote to open trunk then try to jump.....etc. ended up with same situation as you. any info would be helpful, thanks.

I ended up paying the money for the instrument cluster, keys, and security system.
