Default 2013 XK Brembo Caliper

Hi Everyone,
I need to replace the brake pads on my 2013 Jaguar XK. I think the calipers have been upgraded as an aftermarket change I can't find anywhere that's shows or explain this caliper. Has anyone got any ideas or information. The attached picture shows the caliper. All the info I've found show the Brembo caliper but thyre open and you can see the pads, pins and clips.

It looks exactly like the stock caliper on my 07 XKR, but with a Brembo decal. Pop the clip out and remove the caliper slider pins from the back and it will just pull away and you can replace the pads.

I thought that also comparing to my 2010, but there are several small differences. JAGUAR stamped into the steel on the top, the ridge above the name plate is raised on the Brembo, and a couple missing half-circle margins below the pad on the Brembo.

Thanks for your reply. When you say the clip is that the plate with Brembo written on it. I was trying to get that off but it's quite tight, so I thought I'd put this post on. I'll try that tomorrow. Appreciated.

IF you read the writing on the caliper as seen in the pic you'll find it actually says ATE. And that plate which says Brembo does not pop off, it's part of the anti rattle support spring. Brembo only manufacture fixed calipers and for modern Jags only the carbon ceramic options.

Managed to get get at the pads. I removed the plate with Brembo written on it. Not easy, the knack is to insert a screwdriver to push the plate up (yellow lines on picture), there's a lug behind the plate, then prise the the springs out (blue lines). I then compressed the piston by pulling the caliper forward, the caliper can then be removed.

I don't think it is a Brembo caliper after all as stated above . So much for Chat Gpt and Google lens

On that view one can see JAGUAR written laterally across the bracket on the top edge.
