What items are missing on a xk touring model vs a xk?

 

Those are the base models with vinyl dash, different seats, not the same stereo. Not sure why they even bothered with that trim level.

 

Here's how I understand it:
- significantly limited paint/interior color options
- seats are not cooled
- steering wheel is not heated
- no HD radio
- no "memory" option on seats

I know this because I drove a "touring" KX. I really like ALL of the features the Touring does not have. I passed.

 

I think that the interior is a combination of vinyl and leather, rather than all leather.

 

Also, I get the impression that they REALLY don't resell well. Don't know if that's a consideration.

 

Judging by the brochure, they also have 19" wheels as standard and didn't have the option to specify adaptive front lighting and adaptive cruise and there were only three veneer choices out of the ten in the range.

The headlining is also listed as 'cloth' as opposed to 'Premium suede cloth' or 'Poltrona Frau Leather'

 

My 2014 XK tourung has memory seats both driver and passenger.
