2017 xk
Just received my copy of UK CAR magazine with a good article on the next wave of Jag models including the next XK. Looks as if they may fulfil our desire to keep a true GT in the herd and have the F type as the true sports car versus it being an XK replacement. Apologies for the picture quality and you will have to rotate and zoom to read the short article but unfortunately the one pic they have of the XK spans the spine. Personally not too sure about the nose and mouth. Looks a little too low and droopy for my taste. Also note the intent to move the XK up a notch to compete with Bentley. The name may also change to XR. Too early to know if this will actually materialize but it gives a flavor of things to come.

At this stage neither design nor cost will be finalised but this could have some 'assistance' from Jaguar to gauge reaction.

I like it. Still 2 doors, new family resemblance, updated tech, real back seat. Not surprised that there will be a major increase in price--Jaguars currently have a prettly low price point compared to their rivals and $150K+ is not unreasonable for a car like this.
Unfortunate. Will still buy XJL's, but will move to Aston Martin for my car.
So very unfortunate...that 4 door is exactly what the sales manager explained to me a week or so ago when I had my 40K service done on my XKR.
