The 4.2 XKR is a full second quicker and has almost 40 more horsepower.

Bone stock might be close I did 13.4 on my 08 Xkr converible , and recent results of 5.0Na did an identical 13.4 1/4mi
Now with basic bolt ons and a tune on a 4.2xkr is different story. So far from my testing results 4.2sc is actually faster than a stock 5.0xkr at least 0-60

The 4.2sc should run rings around the n/a

The s/c 4.2 is good for low 13s whilst the 5.0 mid 13s

Well I wouldn't say rings judging by latest 5.0 na time of 13.4 . But a tuned 4.2sc with basic bolts on will hang with 550hp cars , we were very close with 2012 550hp CTS V , trap and 1/4 mile times, I did however have more wins on him like 65% more

3 tenths of a second is not running rings around it,, its 3/10s of a second..
Just one tiny slip of a tire at the starting line and other car wins.
Again stock for stock..
Obviously much much easier to hop up the supercharged version.

Were you running at high altitude track?
I ask because CTS-Vs trap close to 120mph.
Stock test have it at 0 to 60 mph in 3.9 sec. Quarter-mile12.2 sec at 118 mph,
with good driver dip into the high 11s.
My girlfriends son has a 2010 CTS-V wagon,,bone stock at sea level track (Palm Beach International Raceway) it ran 11.98@120
The wagons seem to do better at 1/4 mile becuase of the extra length and weight over rear tires.
Very nice run by the way!

At least you HAVE a track. The only one that WAS within 400 miles, it was 25 miles from me, got shut down like four years ago. Now it's all about the Freeway for a LOT of people.
