Default ABS warning triangle on dash display removal

So ABS warning triangle on dash display, car still driving, braking all ok, all brakes serviced and done 6 months ago ,pads discs etc, so all good. Might be sensors or module. Anyway is there a way to return the display to the clock display and remove the amber triangle sign.

On the 2010+ MYs there is, but someone once said that the 4.2 models do not. On the 5.0s there is a red triangle on the bottom of the touch screen towards the right corner, and if you touch it a Clear Warning window comes up, and OK on that and the clock comes back. That's all I know.

It's there on the 07 as well, in the same place Cee Jay indicates on the 2010 MY.

You press the red soft button on the touchscreen and get the clear warning message. You'll get one for each code you have, so if you have 3 error codes, you'll have to do this 3 times and it will return next time you start the car.

You should consider getting the codes read.

Did that Sean and clock returned, with a small amber triangle in the top left corner and the

amber sign still an main display. when i turn off car and start again i have to do the erase again, did it 3 times but clock won't stay on. If clock stays on how do i get rid of the other symbols.

Hey Powerhouse. I'm afraid you need to have the codes read and the underlying issue fixed, followed by having the codes cleared.

I'll add that if these are sudden and the battery's old, this is one of these issues that can occur with a depleted battery. Having said that, don't just swap parts. Have the codes read and correct the issue, but you can have the battery load tested at the auto parts store and replace it first IF it's bad.

You make the warnings go away by fixing the problem that is causing them...

Yep. Pretty common for the wheel bearing sensor to get buggered. Reading the codes will point in the right direction.
