I know there have been some kindly folks with amazing pictures/information that I've seen here when a car for sale has been posted.
I hope some info is known on this one. it's been in two front end collisions according to carfax, car has had a nice detailed service history and is uniquely optioned that still holds my interest.
Huh, I just found both a 2008 XKR AND a 2009 XKR Portfolio for sale with the same VIN. Both in Anderson (sort of, one also lists Greenville). One black, one Lunar Gray. Different mileage.
Super weird that it is an '08 with the ariel antenna. I've never seen an '08 with an antenna...I thought this was only for '07.
It appears to be a portfolio edition, of which I believe 200 were made, all (except a few EU models) finished in a beautiful paint color: Celestial Black. It has a gorgeous blue tint in the right light.

Yeah, I noticed the antenna after posting, I intentionally search for 2008+ because of it.
I like the LED tail light replacement, not to sure on the fact it appears lowered.
That color really hits the spot, I love a deep dark blue, especially on a Jaguar.

Lets just say there are differences to like about them both.
I was just looking for information good/bad on the car with that VIN as I was thinking of taking a trip to see it next week.
However, looks like it sold.
I'm fine with buying a car with accident history if I know what that history is, but car's in dealer lots are generally as is and with no history due to privacy scrubbing.

' This seems to hold true even when buying a Jag from a Jag dealership, AND with a clean carfax. Wasn't until I put on new tires that the shop asked why there was a new sub-frame under it... Yeash!
I have bought a car with an accident history before, and I won't do it again. It's not that I care that the car has been in an accident, but a car with a reported accident history is much harder to resell.

Yeah, it really hurts the potential pool of buyers. I think it does help if you at least have documentation so they can make their own judgement.
I've yet to sell or trade in a car in my life, but adding Jaguar #2 I may drop one Porsche.
This particular Jaguar sold within 24hours of me posting about it here, and I believe it had only been listed for about two weeks. There isn't an un-wrecked one in this combination on the market right now.
I think it would make a nice opposite direction from my caramel interior coupe.
