active exhaust
i did pull the fuse to keep the valves open,, but i also found the vacuum lines disconnected from valve actuators by previous owner,,
i noticed that outter tail tips are cleaner than inner,, i also found no air coming from outter tips at idle,,
do i have the valves open or close by removing fuse/vacuum lines?

I suspect, but don't know for sure, that disconnecting the vacuum lines keep the valves closed since you have exhaust flowing through only 1 pipe. When the valves are open, exhaust flows through both pipes.
Just my WAG.
Why disconnect the vacuum lines? Have they been plugged? If not, how does your car run and does your check engine light come on? Why not plug them back in?

I have a milltek system on my 07 xkr with no valve system and the 2 vacum lines have been plugged with a bolt. As the system was on when i bought the car i contacted them about the pipes and was told that they are just blocked when not in uses. Fuse 19 is still in and no cel light, don't know whether it effects anything.

was thinking about upgraded my 2 silencer and a bladder non-performance active exhaust system to either the stage 3 milltek or a quicksilver super sport system... Any thoughts?
Would it be louder and... gruntier??!!?!
