AFL fault
Hi all, my 2007 XK convertible's Active Front Lighting system light is flashing. It came on after I let the battery get low. I replaced the battery, but the light is still on. Any idea where I should start with this? The manual says to contact the dealer, but I'm hoping it's something I can handle myself.
No batteries new off the shelf are fully charged. Not a one! They are manufactured, stored, shipped, stored, shipped, stored, then shipped to the retailer who also stores them.
Charge your battery fully with a 10 amp charger for at least 12 hours!
That may help.
What also may help is to give both headlights a pretty hefty smack with the side of a fist a couple times, then try again from OFF/LOCKED.
