where is the air filter located on a 2014 xkrs?

 

Two of 'em, in front of the front wheels, way at the bottom, behind the inner wheel well liner.

It seems to be difficult to find online manuals for the X150 lately.

 

Have you checked this website? More specifically the 4000 page "Jaguar XK Service Manual" there.

 

Those training guides and service manuals are valuable resources. I recommend that a Moderator download them and make them "stickies". PM sent.

I forwarded those to the mods quite some time ago, but managed to forget it looks like they're now hosted there.

 

I have previously posted links to Workshop (Service) Manuals and Electrical Guides on both my own and the forum MediaFire accounts in a number of posts but they are clearly not proving easy to find. I've therefore crreated a new "sticky" specifically for them:

I use a later version of the Workshop Manual (obtained from the apparently now defunct JagDocs) for my 2015MY XK but cannot post or link to this on the forum as it is copyright. If anyone has a non-copyright version, I can add it to the "sticky".

Are you considering changing them and if so how many miles on them and why would you think they need to be changes.

 

Those links have been dead for many, many months. Probably over a year at least.

 

That's why GGG created the new "sticky" in his Post #7, above. Those links are alive and well ... for now.

 

I have 17000 miles, and just did an oil change, and wanted to check them to see if they are clean or need replaced. It seems that they will be very difficult to access, though.

 

Are you looking at post #3? The link works for me and has a lot more information than just workshop manuals/circuit diagrams. In 2017 I had a moderator upload the files to the X150 mediafire section - here is the direct link X150

 

Yeah, the GGG ones on Mediafire are all there, but the three pages of junk in the MANUAL DOWNLOAD thread are mostly that; junk.
POST 3 in this thread is has the 3163 page WM, and that's great. Same one I've had for maybe four years now.
Point is; it's still difficult to find these manuals and such, at least compared to the plethora of locations that were available four years ago and linked-to. It's been made easier in the last small bit due to some updates, but still....
