Default Alcon brakes

Can anyone share detailed information on the Alcon brakes fitted to a 2009 XKR?

Im trying to get maintenance parts from Alcon, but I need part size detail. Piston sizes for example.

The Jaguar part numbers mean nothing to Alcon

Put "Portfolio Alcon brakes" into the search box. Should bring up a whole bunch of threads with all the information you desire

They are “tweaked” mono 6 and mono 4 calipers. A google search should yield what you seek or I can lost later. There’s a company Illinois that sells parts and rebuilds. Alcon Kits I think it is called.

Still struggling to find the info I need, it would really help to know what width the Alcron rotors are, 28 or 32mm?

The Jaguar part numbers mean nothing to Alcon

The rear pistons are 31.8mm and part number PSS3230X550 - pressure seal is part number SES3200X900 and the wiper seal part number is SNW3432X603 - you'll need 4 of each of everything for the rear

The front pistons are 30, 35 & 38mm and part numbers PSS3033X550, PSS3533X550 and PSS3833X550 - pressure seals are SES3000X900, SES3500X900 and SES3800X900 - wiper seals SNW3430X603, SNW3435X634 and SNW4474X621 - you'll need 2 of everything for the front.

Talk to Chris the owner. He’ll text, email, phone call with you. He hooked me up with everything I needed. I did my 4 calipers on my ‘08 Portfolio back in Jan.

If you go to the website you can see which kits and which pistons you’ll need and the cost.
My calipers where completely rebuilt by his shop with everything new as I had a lot of frozen pistons as the previous owner was ignorant of the importance of fluid changeout. I replaced everything. Rotors, Porterfield RS-4 street/track carbon/kevlar pads which have a ‘softer’ pedal feel but are cleaner on the wheels and rebuilt calibers. Be aware if you have him rebuild them he does not repaint calipers. The paint color is called Ruby Red. I actually found the build print for the Alcon calipers that gave the paint number number, I think in the forum here. Found a place in Tx that sells it. I’ll post the paint number if I can find it again.
RLA3003 Ruby Red.

Are you 100% sure the Alcon disks are 36mm and 28mm?

Alcon don’t list parts that fit 36mm disks. They do however mention 32mm disks.

im gathering a lot of info and will soon be in a position to share.

thank you

Yes they are and also the same rotor specs as used on the Jeep TrackHawk interestingly enough...before the Jeep, I don't think anything else on the road used a 400mmX36mm rotor.

The Nissan GTR had an Alcon Super Kit BBK that had 400x36mm rotors, but other than that I think the Portfolio & the Jeep were the only ones that came stock that way.
