Default Aluminum pedal covers

So I got a set of the aluminum pedal covers from the ebay dude in China. I have to admit that they do look nice. A query to those of you who have installed these, did you remove the rubber covers from the pedals or just drill through them to install those little tiny screws to hold on the covers? The dead pedal is obvious.

There's no need to remove the OEM rubber pedal covers. The aluminum covers screw directly into them. Here's how I installed them on my XJ:

I accidentally posted this in Stuarts linked thread:

I prefer the brushed aluminum to the stainless. If I had a 2012 onward with the chrome buttons, I might opt for the stainless.

I picked up mine from Aliexpress for $19.79

I also picked up the matching heel plate but not liking it as the Jaguar emblem on the carpet is there too. It can be ordered without the emblem, but with it, logo overload (for me). So just the pedals for me:-)

Hi Sean,

I think your link got truncated and doesn't work for me.

I would like to see what you guys used. I just installed the Jaguar Accessory Pedal Set and am looking for something to compliment those other than the F-Type Foot Rest.

Thanks,

Dave

I'm also considering something like this, as I had bespoke pedal covers on the X-Type. Specifically I'd like a dead pedal, as putting my dirty sole on the carpet feels bad. Of course, if I do get one, I'd have to get the pedals as well. I fear the dead pedal would look weird by itself...

Not entirely sure which set to go with, I do prefer polished finish like on these by Mina Gallery. My interior has knurled aluminium trim however, so brushed finish might fit in better, though I'm generally not a fan of that.

WOW, thank you , thank you. I have been trying to locate those and for some reason my Ebay search for that seller came up empty.

This is exactly the look I wanted to match the Factory Accessory Pedal Kit. I am torn on the R logo, but heck why not.

Have a great day and thanks again,

Dave
