Any cars I shouldn’t challenge???
Enjoy my ‘10 XKR and putting Mustangs and Camaros in their place. But I’m sure I’ll run into something faster. What stock cars should I avoid when challenged? Vettes and ????
Normal Corvettes will succumb on the freeway, but a short off-the-line duel and the vette will have better traction and you will be sad. Go from a roll and you'll slaughter it.
As far as Mustangs, you best be careful. Listen for a deep rumble from the exhaust, it'll probably have 800 HP or so as a LOT of Mustang guys slap on a blower & tune it ... you'll never know other than that exhaust note.
Also remember your top speed is only 155 (unless you changed that) and Porsches and such will laugh as they pull away.

With so many high output electrics available you may have to add a bunch to the list, I believe a Jaguar I-Pace, at least on paper, is faster to 60 mph. Not sure on quarter mile how that would fare.
But you have the knowledge that you sound way better in the process! At least to all of us petrol heads, I am sure the E car crowd would say their silent assassin is beautiful in it's quietness.

Unless you have modified your car it's really not that fast, best I have seen in my 11 xkr is 12.3 in the 1/4, mine is stock, from the numbers I have seen from others on here it faster than average,
any new Camaro or Mustang V8 will run high 11s with a good driver bone stock. Muscle Mustang ran a new bone stock 2018 mustang gt on stock tires and it ran 11.8.. that would slaughter any stock xkr.
My previous car was a 2014 v6 mustang, mostly stock with a procharger at only 6lbs of boost,it ran 12.5 . For the power the XKR makes it's not as fast as it should be. Be safe out there!

3:28. Sure, nice start, but goodbye Tesla. F8 pulls away like Tesla is standing still at speed.
Not sure the F8 is even relevant, a 710hp 3550lb monster that does 0-60 in 2.8 seconds and quarter mile in 10.2. Yet they felt the need to race a 4 door sedan, isn't that a sign of some respect? Yes, the Ferrari walked the Tesla in short order. Would wonder what that would have looked like with the F8 against an XKR, I think most would agree that is unfair, it would walk the Jag from get go and keep on a-walkin'.
Your example shows all vehicles have their sweet spot. When I had my BMW all the M6 owners were obsessed with how well their cars performed against competitors at speeds over 50mph. That was their sweet spot, having a heavy high hp GT cruiser (sound familiar?) didn't make for a good stoplight racer. I always gave them a hard time, while the rest of the world is all about 0-60 they were obsessed with 60 to 100 and always railing against the majority.
We could debate these points all day long which would be dumb, the XKR is a magnificent example of the Jaguar Grace Space and Pace. Quick, beautiful, and refined. Not the quickest, perhaps not the most beautiful which most on here will contest, certainly not the most refined you can buy. But a damn high example of those three traits rolled into one affordable package!!!
Hell a Subaru WRX STI can kill at Nurenberg so if you are in the XKR don't take on one of those in the twisties, you will be slayed playing in their sweet spot. Many fast cars in many different situations.

It's just an example of a theme I've seen in nearly every YouTube electric car drag race. TESLA MODEL X VS LAMBO WOW. Yes the Tesla zips off the line (and looks so stupid doing so) and then the Lamborghini inevitably blows by. I think 50-100 speed is more relevant than 0-60, as that's highway speed.
Personally I don't race any car in my XKR or care too much about such things anymore. I did however get some fart can hot hatch blink his lights at my Bentley Continental the other day. I couldn't resist dropping the hammer on that guy.

Hmmm, a 330K two seater exotic with limited usablity vs a 5-passenger sedan meant for daily driving. A better mash up would have been the 110 with Ludicrous, a true 1.9 0 - 60 second car. And it gets there without the drama and wheel spin of purpose built super cars. Still a silly comparison though. Maybe the next time they'll do it with five passengers and luggage for a weekend. That would be as pointless as this drag race was.
So a tune, pulley, exhaust system can inexpensively get a 5.0 XKR to what, 615hp or so? At 3770lbs that's going to be screaming fast enough, on the line or off it. Someday I'll do that to my XJ but as it is now 510hp or whatever it is is fun enough for me.

Love the Bentley, looks like a great car, every once and a while I pull up sale listings and the Wife shoots it down as being too flashy. Same with a Ferrari California. I am ready to up our game but getting some pushback...
The XKR was quick in its day, but there are much faster vehicles now days with AWD, even a 4 cylinder AMG hatch etc that can blitz the Jag. The problem is the lack of traction off the line and heavy weight.
Accept the Jag for what is was initially designed for as a grand tourer first with a sprinkle of sportiness and enjoy.

Well if you were in the left lane as he approached I guess his blinky-blinky worked, whether you get over or motivate your metal like you did it is all good!

Or else it's her money your spending so she makes the decisions?

I suspect I know the answers and there's an expression similar to 'cat flogged' that seems to apply.
