Any review on powerflex bushings?
Hi all,
I would like to know if any xk owners have installed aftermarket powerflex suspension / arms bushings (in purple or black). Any review on the performance of these would be great. I'm thinking of getting a whole replacement set which cost something like GBP600. Any advice would be great. Many thanks.

Would avoid them on the XK.
Sure in theory they reduce the natural compliance you get with rubber bushings but in reality they are horrible on a street car. Great for the track but will ruin you street ride. I had a couple of cars that i have poly bushed......would never do it again......
Will make the ride harder, more noisy and more skittish......will tramline with the road more and they also wear internally against the sleeve inserts.....eventually the bush hole wear the sleeve inserts will go oval and you'll get free play in the joint........trust me and of you really need to replace the bushes get new rubber ones......
hope this helps!!
