Anybody lube/oil the hinge points on convertible

want to do this at some point this summer and wanted to know what to use , grease , silicon etc?

Did mine with silicone from a spray can.

Yeah, if you put any viscous anything on points it may migrate onto fabric surfaces making a mess. Less is your friend.

The first X150 convertible I test drove had black stains on the caramel interior C-pillar area. Probably from lubricating the top mechanism, looked terrible.
