Angry Anyone attended the Jaguar Driving Academy?

I purchased my 2013 Jaguar XKR coupe in May 2014, car was new and untitled with 12 miles. I was told by my salesman that since I purchased a "R" series that I would be eligible to attend the Jaguar Driving Academy within one year of my purchase. This is where it get crazy, my salesman doesn't seem to know anything about the process. I called Jaguar Concierge and was told the paperwork on my car indicates that I purchased a XK model and was not eligible to take this complementary course. I explained that I purchased the XKR 510 hp supercharged model and furnished them with my Vin # and still this is falling on deaf ears. I get " I will look inti this and call you back", still waiting on those calls. I have also talked with people from Jaguar Driving Academy in Michigan and still no help. The next available class is in December at Homestead Miami Speedway. Has anyone had this problem or have any advice on who else I might talk with? My opinion of Jaguar customer service is starting to go South!

Call Jaguar North America in New Jersey. They may be able to help you. Let us know how this works out. Good luck.

I thought any new Jaguar purchase was eligible for the driving academy?

Not a smart move by Jaguar if they are limiting participation to a select few buyers.

I believe anyone can attend if you pay their fee whic is $895.00 for the Course 1, but if you had purchased a new "R" series vehicle that the course 1 was to be complementary if used within one year from date of purchase. I just received a e-mail from Mr. Bell at the Jaguar Driving Academy stating that my car is a XK R series but now the tell me it is a used car and not eligible for the PIN number necessary to attend. I called my salesperson from Land Rover Jaguar Central in Houston and he does not understand where they are coming up with their information. He agreed that my car was a new car sale and should qualify. He is now trying to get it straightened out with Jaguar. Very frustrated with Jaguar, they use a third party company that issues the PIN number when Jaguar sends them the paperwork on a new qualified "R" series vehicle, so I am unable to speak with them direct. I believe that my dealership messed up the paperwork but so far I am unable to find anyone in the Jaguar network that has the authority to make it right. Grrrrrr.

They are limiting them. When I purchased my 2014 XFS AWD, the saleman said we would have the chance to go and would receive confirmation of it. I also got emails, letters and so forth. But when I called, it was only for the R buyers.

I see no problem just have the dealer cough up $895.00 it looks like they are the ones who screwed up
