Default Anyone have experience with portable lifts?

So I'm having a grumpy experience right now with the dealer service. Aside from getting bufu'ed on the price, they've kept my car for two weeks for a "5 hour" job. (I don't quite believe the five hours either -- I looked at the procedure and think it should take three or four). It is definitely work I could have done, but sadly I have no way of getting the car up in the air to work underneath. Moreover, I can't install a permanent lift because of a low ceiling and more importantly a prestressed concrete floor I can't drill anchors into.

Has anyone tried something like a quick jack? https://www.quickjack.com/car-lifts/5000tl/ At $300 an hour for service charges, this would amortize out quickly if they work as advertised.

I have a set of the 7000TL and it works really well. Haven’t had the need to put the Jag on it yet but I don’t see why it would be a problem.

Costco have regular sales on Quickjacks and a better return policy than the manufacturer itself.

I have the 5000TLX (a bit longer than the TL) and love it, as I too have a low ceiling. Use it on all three cars. My only nits are: I wish the hydraulic hoses were a bit longer, and (maybe due to lack of upper body strength) the click connect connectors can sometimes be a bitch to press together.
I added wheels to mine to make it easy to move the units around the garage, and store them end-to-end under the car.

I have the 5000 series Quick Jack and the Jaguar Xk models are one of the easiest models
to get the jacks positioned .
The Jag has very large and flat frame rails to facilitate lifting with the rubber pads
I also have a C4 Corvette and there is plenty of opportunities to damage something if lifting pads are not placed exactly in the right spot
