Default ASF headlight fault

Right hand side lense is pointing down and center the other one is fine. I have switched the module and then the fault followed i.e. the left hand lense was pointing down and right hand was fine. I’ve ordered a used part but it made no difference. My ‘good part’ behaved correctly and the fault followed the replaced second hand part. Is the used part also faulty or is there another fault that makes it misbehave?

Why did you start a new thread, when you already asked the same question here? https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...ocking-290122/

Are you sure that used eBay module is the correct part number for your car?

Yes it’s definitely the correct part, identical numbers.

Hi, I never swapped modules when mine did that, but I had an issue with the front height sensor, I replaced that and they both tracked properly after.

Where is the module located and how do you replace it? Also I’ve taken the heels off to check the ground but there were no grounding cables in the wheel arch.
