My 08 has the iphone cable and the USB with RCA jacks but no headphone jack. I too have an android phone but no way for it to connect. I can't get the phone to work with the USB connector either so I just plugged in USB stick with MP3 files on it. It's definitely unfortunate but not enough to make me go back to the iphone anytime soon.

You can purchase from Radio Shack the RCA to single headphone
Jack to plug into your droids headphone jack and play Pandora. That's
what I do. Works like a charm! The cable can be had for under ten bucks or 19 if you want the monster cable version.

No he's talking about a cable that uses the phones headphone output to the two RCA jack inputs.
Tom the audio jacks are an option on our cars. If you don't have them you can talk to your dealer. I believe its about $600 installed.

I just installed one this past weekend. It took a couple of hours. Can be purchased from a forum sponsor for about 60 less than the 300. You will have to pull a few things apart to include the glove box, center console and the touch screen head unit and drill some holes. The instructions are pretty good in the kit. It still requires a trip to a Jag dealer to perform the IDS update on the head unit and they charge for the privilege.
If your glove box doesn't have the dampening spring working, you can fix that while you have it apart as well. There was a service bulletin about repairing that and only took a few minutes.
