However the ultra low mileage and overall quality may bring this price. Hard to tell. I have spoken with the dealership. Will continue to watch the auction listing.

I am the lucky owner - bought it today!
Wow - Cool to see others like the car I just traded my 2006 victory edition XKR for.
Although I love the 2006 XKR - my ebay filter went off for a low mileage XKR near home (I live in the same city as the car).
It was irrational - but that blue with tan was just too much for me. Plus I got it at 8007 miles. It is basically brand new!
The test drive sealed it - I had not driven a 2007+ yet, and this car feels like a completely different car than the 2006.
I must say - it is immaculate and too pretty to stop looking at. I got it for $44,500, very nice buying experience. It may be a couple thousand higher than I "ought" to have paid, but you simply cannot find a car with that low of miles in that shape, with that color combo anywhere.
I absolutely LOVE it. Just picked it up 7 hours ago, but it is my 3rd XKR (2002, 2006 and now this 2008). I did get the extended warrantee, as this dealer provides them at wholesale. 2.2k for $100 deduct 18k mile/3 year.
I work from home - so don't even get 6k on a car in a year.
Anyway - I was looking for why the rear light only goes activates on the left side (found the answer here - thanks!). And happened to see this post with my car pictures on it. The car was picked up at Action in PA, had spend it's entire life being serviced regularly, but almost never driven. Same dealer the entire time.
Hopefully that answers the question as to what happened to it!

The color combination is awesome. Love the blue with the blue top. Interior color makes the whole car look "rich". I know of one other member who is picking up an 2008 with the same color combo in SC tomorrow.
Congrats on the new ride.
