Default Best exhaust for XKR-S?

I brought X150 XKR-S recently.
Exhaust system sounds great but the growling is a bit quite in low speed under 2,000 RPM.
I want it to be more V8.

Which do you guys think is the best way to sound more V8.

I am thinking straight pipe for removing cats under the engine or removing x-pipe to make it straight to make it a bit louder?

Sorry for my pour english but think you will get me .

Let me know guys.

Thank you.

You do realize that if you want the exhaust louder at less than 2000 rpm… the sound will be obnoxiously loud above 2000 rpm.

Yes, removing the cats will certainly make it louder. I however wouldn’t do that to mother nature. And you will need to retune the engine due to the O2 sensors will not provide valuable data to the ecm.
Removing the x-pipe will have no useful effect.
Have you disabled the active exhaust?

Thanks for the advice

"the sound will be obnoxiously loud above 2000 rpm"
this is one thing I'm worrying about.

No, I don't know how to disable active exhaust.
Can you please let me know how to do that?

As I need to change it into dynamic mode to turn it on everytime I start the car.

:-). Look at the description of the fuse box. Remove the fuse for the exhaust.
Your exhaust will be noticeably louder at the lower rpms if you do this.

Fuse 19, in the fuse panel between the rear seats, IIRC.

I do not remember how many cats XKR-S has but it if has pre-cats, you can consider removing those but keeping the main one in place.

Or, if it's just the main cat, then replace it with a high flow sports version (200 cell or so). This way no CEL but improved noise, flow, power.
