Default Best quality and sounding Exhaust

I know this has been beat to death but I wanted to start a new thread as new parts have been released.

My current exhaust all of a sudden has a bad baffle that causes a very loud whistle at high RPM, and is also leaking at major junctions. So it needs to be replaced.

So that being said what is the highest quality all stainless exhaust available? I'm thinking Miltek at the moment but there is another company in the UK that starts with an L that makes incredible exhausts as well.

I'd love to hear your feedback and noise is not a concern as my car is loud stiff and built in my kind of GT3 style.

Also today is Tune, Dyno and drapstrip day but I will start a new thread on that subject.

The Quicksilver super sport is worth looking at.
Saves about 40lbs over stock.

That is on the list as well, there are also one more mentioned here a few weeks ago and I have to find out which one out of the UK started with an L. It was a gorgeous exhaust and sounds wonderful.

Should have bookmarked it.

And then there is Spires. Not many exhausts made for Jags. Comes in active or non active.

hmmm, does not trigger anything. Neither SuperSprint, nor Tubi nor Capristo make one, those would be the loud aggressive ones for sure.

They almost all sound like the dynamic exhaust, maybe some a little deeper but definitely not louder.

of course I have my Mina but I would not recommend it over the dynamic one, the difference is not that much.

Get Supersprint to make another batch of XK and XKR exhausts; I'd buy one for sure!

I found only one video that I can listen to without tearing my hair out.

It sounds similar to the Spires 3 stage, Do you have any idea of how the price compares to the Spires? Spires 3 stage is 2,245 GBP ($3725 USD). If you do get the Larini, please post a good video/sound clip of the exhaust!

I have had milteks on other cars and love them. Quality, fit and finish was top notch. However, milteks tend to be quieter and more refined than other brands, at least in my experience. For me, that was what I was looking for. For others, they may want something louder.

Default quick silver supersport

I actually had the quicksilver supersports on my 2010 xkr. There is a video up on you tube of it. Its terrible quality but It actually sounds pretty close to what it did sound like in real life. I later added body kit, tune, pulley, and high flow cats which that cats made the car sound more insane than it already did. I actually seen my old car on ebay for sale yesterday. its not up anymore so im going to assume it was sold down in Miami where it was listed. on the quicksilver supersport I got 4hp I think and 15 lb ft additional Its noted in the video. not sure how to embed a video so I will just put the link in.

heres the link for the quick silver

There is also a company called cargraphics that makes and exhaust for the xkr. I have an email request in with them if they have any video of it since I cant seem to find any online.

I had a paramount exhaust on my 4.2NA, which sounded seriously awesome. Exactly the same as an Aston, and I was getting that from people who owned or worked on Astons. But I switched it over to my 5.0NA and it didnt sound as good, it had needed some work to make it fit. This is a different paramount system, for the 5.0. I'm not sure how good it is

Are there no state-side performance exhaust vendors?

Mina Gallery and Fabspeed are the only 2 US sellers I know. But you could easily have a good exhaust shop make you one. It is really easy!

Yeah, I have a great custom shop I've used for my mustang. But's it's all about the sound of 'dem muffs. I'll probably start with installing a X-over first, then, proceed from there as I learn more.
Thanks for the recommendations...

the exhaust with high flow cats sounded amazing. I didn't have any issues with the quick silver. took tech longer to install air filters than exhaust. had it on for a year before I sold car with no problems.
