Default Best Tint for Lunar Grey Metallic

Hey everyone,

Need to get my XK tinted before Summer this year and I’d like to get opinions and see some examples of your car’s tints so it can help me decide on what tint color and percentage would look best. I have a 2007 XK with Lunar Grey Metallic. Saw a similar colored Aston Martin DB9 the other day and it had what looked like mirror tint and it looked hottttt! Anyone have that combo? What else have we got in this forum? Thanks in advance!!

Lunargray metallic is an interesting shade, Depending on the lighting, can be more silvery. Sometimes it appears to have a blue/purple tint as well. I think it suits the XK Coupe well.

those wheels really pop.

I’ve got standard charcoal tint on mine, but only for heat/UV in this hot Florida sun.

The tint you’re after’s called Quantum. I’ve had it on several cars and it does have an interesting subtle look to it.

Thanks SDCR
Def has some purple in certain light angles. Like this beautiful sunset a few days ago, it just radiated purple within its metallic grey tones.

I would defer to the tint shop and see what they think / what they have to offer. Go for the ceramic if offered.
