I have an Alpha tune on my 2013 XKR, I did not install it, previous owner did and passed all the details to me, https://alphatuningfiles.com/chiptuning/jaguar/ it is allegedly 550hp
I have not put the car on a rolling road, it has been driven by a local Jaguar specialist who confirms the performance is definitely above standard xkr,
The car performs well, no pulleys were changed, i believe there are more performance upgrades available from Alpha tune, i have not researched it thoroughly.

 

I have VAP Stage 1 (tune only) on my 2011 XKR, seems plenty strong after several thousand miles. Installed in late 2023.

 

Not that I care that much, but, for those that have done the Alpha Tune how much did it impact your mpg? Yeah I know, it hard to tell because as the hp goes up, the fun pedal seems to go down faster.

 

thanks. This is what I was considering, just the cap tune. How do you like it? Can you feel the power gains? Worth it?
