Default DGL Picture

Hello DGL:

Please post a picture of your 2014 xkr. I love the black pack. Almost bought on but car was dogged out so had to let it go. My wife loved the black pack.

Thanks

Guy:
Thanks for the video. Anyone who loves Jags, this will make them smile even without the Kim K. comment. Ha!

Thanks DGL for the pics.

All of those pics have been enhanced. Not saying the car isn't beautiful but I'd want to see UN-enhanced pics if I were to bid on a car online.....

One of the choices for the seller's packages on Bring A Trailer is to have their photographers take care of the photos. I too am not familiar with enhanced photos. Regardless, I'm one of those buyers who wouldn't even consider any car unless I could see it in person. That has always been my preference.

i will agree the pics are great. I doubt they were touched up as he has won many trophies, blue ribbons and won best of show in a few meets. Under the hood is perfect. Had I not just bought an XK I would be all over this one!

That's a very clean looking XKR. If I were looking for a 2008 XKR it would be on my short list. The pictures look real and unaltered to me.

JDog,
I don't think you can make a mistake with any year of the X150, althought the 5.0L XKR cars are wondrously quick and agile. And if it's the black pack goodies that you like, Chris at Mina Galleries still has the molds to make those pieces. I added them to my car after I bought mine in 2013. (see picture below). It included the side skirts and front splitter. I changed the rear bumper/diffuser completely to one from F/X Designs. Obviously missing from the 2010-2011 cars was the rear view camera, however, the 2010s came with Adaptive cruise control which became a rather rare option in later years. The best advice is to get a car that has as full a service history as possible in the best condition. The year won't make the difference.

Well first, I'm not saying the car is NOT immaculate. I am saying some of the pictures are color enhanced. There is nothing wrong with doing that in an ad, but filtering makes things look better. Some filtering enhances color and sometimes when you do that, you lose clarity.

For instance. Look at this shot. It's brilliant. The background looks painted. You can not see the wheel wells. The reflections are obviously enhanced.

Look at this one. Less or no filtering. You can see behind the rotors and even see tire tread.

I took a pic of my car and added some basic filtering in my free stock Samsung photo app:

And the original. Which one looks better...
