BIG NEWS:DuduOs expands to support Jaguar(XK too!) for Air Con in Latest beta app
June 1st surprise! Jaguar gets support in latest beta app for Air Con.
DuduOs is an android OS used on Chinese Car Brand BYD's car as their native OS. The Makers of DuDuOs allow other FYT based android users to install the OS on any FYT 7862/7870 unit.
Announcement of Deeply Adapted Vehicle Models (CANBUS) - DUDUAUTO
LZ(HZ)-Jaguar-XK-2006-2013-(3670468)
LZ(HZ)-Jaguar-XF-2013-(4915652)
LZ(HZ)-Jaguar-XF-2009-(6029764)
LZ(HZ)-Jaguar-XFL PACE-2017.HIGH-13238724
LZ(HZ)-Jaguar-XFL PACE-2017.LOW-(12779972) Landscape + Portrait Screen Device
LZ(HZ)-Jaguar-F_TYPE-2015-(6881732) Portrait Screen Device
LZ(HZ)-Jaguar-XJL-2012-(7012804) Portrait Screen Device
LZ(HZ) is the only canbus maker supporting jaguar although I've seen some other canbus makers support Land Rover.
This was the final missing thing for full jaguar integration. I tried it before on my XKR 2008 but the DuDu Os Air Con app lacked integration thus sadly had to remove it. Everything else was flawless integration for a replacement Android OS.
It's superior, faster, regular updates, unlocks a ton of features(especially audio) has active dev/beta community, and much better looking than stock UI with PIP than other android OS,
IMO, the best android head unit OS out there. They also have their own Android head unit hardware line too which opens up what we can install on our cars(was pretty limited before and often older 7862 units).
Most importantly, DuduOs enables advanced audio support/configuration like optical/coax out even in older 7862 units like the tesla screens along with USB audio out to DAC(worked great on my prior 7862 FYT unit). Excellent PIP and UI features even for older 7862 boards with android 10.
This is not a launcher, but a full OS replacement for android head units although they do have a separate launcher product if you want to try. I'm a big fan of the beta and wondered if I was the only jaguar beta tester there since I joined a few months ago.
Did not expect my old jaguar to get full integration/support but these guys rock and made it happen.
