Just finished painting the sub frame and other bit of rusty metal under the car. It amazing how rusty these bits can get if you live in a damp climate were roads are salted.
It's a bit disappointing that jaguar used steel on the odd bits under the car, when the body is all aluminium. I would suggest if you intend keeping you car for along time that you give the sub frame and a couple if other struts a bit of paint before the dreaded rust takes over.
