Blue LED lights in front of instrument cluster

I had a K40 in my 08, it is now in my 12 XK. Those lights are the indicator lights. The modern K40s are activated through a remote which I keep in one of the cupholders. When I got my 12 xk I had the K40 installed in the 12 and the blue led lights were left in the 08. Perhaps that is what is going on here.
Does your 10 have a front license plate frame? If so look at it and see if the frame has a thicker part in the upper middle section as well as a wire(s) coming out of it. The thick part should be maybe 5-8 inches long and 1/2 to 1 inch thick. If it does, that is the laser/radar detector for the front end. Then look underneath the rear bumper for a small rectangular black box that is about 3/4 to 1 inch thick that is the rear radar detector. The wiring goes through the fuse box located underneath the hood at the back of the engine on the left side.
If you can't find any of these things then the system has probably been removed to be installed in another vehicle. I am basically happy with the K40 system. I have now had this particular system in two cars and had an older model system in my 04 XJR.
