Default Bluetooth audio adapter

Was thinking of using this to receive Bluetooth from my phone and then output thru the RCA cables into the AUX inputs in the glovebox.

You didn't read the description right. It's to TRANSMIT stuff from a device that doesn't already HAVE Bluetooth.

Mostly I have used mine for audiobook streaming in my company car, would always plug in a hard wire for listening to music as the BT streaming compression seriously degraded the quality of the music. Audiobooks are just voice recordings so quality was not critical.

The btc450 while more expensive actually streams CD quality from my phone via Bluetooth. I cannot tell the difference between that and direct headphone wire connection to my Samsung S5. This unit does require a hard wire power connection, it does not have a battery.

Unfortunately it requires a 3.5mm aux input and my '07 only has the AUX RCA inputs. I installed the Etekcity Wireless Bluetooth 4.0 Receiver over the weekend and it sounds great.
