Default OK no phone tonight

I left for golf at 4 today and got the no phone sign on the screen. I did the search and my phone came up and I hit the dock button but the system was unable to dock. It shows it paired but will not dock. Even doing a shut down and restart got same results. Same issue on the way home. I had been having the phone drop out (undock) once in a while but it would dock and stay until I shut down. Don't know if others had this but if so what did it end up being. I will delete the phone in the car and on my BT screen and reinstall it tomorrow to see what happens. If still no results I guess I'll have to go the dealer route . I do have an appointment to get a new glove box installed maybe I can see if they want to replace the BT module. By the way it has been working for the 2 years I have had this car with both of my Samsung phones. 2012 XKR convert.

Stupid but obvious question (since this happens a lot with my phone), did you accidentally turn off bluetooth on your phone device? It will dock but not pair as you've described.

Nope and checked that. BT is turned on . Somehow I can't believe it is the BT module as I would think that the car wouldn't even see my phone. I'll play with it today while I get the car washed.

Haha just went out to check my weekly fluids so when I hit the start button (no brake) to check the oil the phone came up with no problem. I shut it off and did it again and the phone just docked as normal. By the way Ctek was on at normal 13.7V but I didn't start the car. I'll be going out to the car wash in about an hour and will see if it hooks up when I start the car even though that shouldn't matter.

Only had this happen to me once and it was down to slightly lower than normal battery voltage. Since then, no more problems.
