Bluetooth help? Generic Code?
Hey guys sorry to ask but I have searched and searched been trying to connect my Bluetooth to my car with no avail. My car keeps telling me pairing unsuccessful . When I looked online and watched the video I came up with a generic code 1313 which doesn't work.
Is there a different code?

Its a 2007 XK and my phone is a Blackberry Z30.
Yesterday I kept trying over and over again around the 20th time the Headunit recognized my phone and said blackberry on the screen do I want to pair and dock. Then this code came up on the screen and the touchscreen locked up on the car. I put in 1850 on my phone but it didn't work and that pair and dock screen just wont come back.

As I stated in my previous post #4, above, "New smartphones might not work in early X150s." Because your Blackberry Z30 came out in October 2013 it might not be compatible with the Bluetooth version in your 2007 XK.
Note that it appears that the Blackberry Z30 is compatible with later model XKs. You should contact your Jaguar dealer to determine if the Bluetooth version in your XJ can be upgraded to the most current version.
Have you read the Sticky at the top of this Forum and gone to the Connectivity Center and entered your VIN to determine compatibility? If not, you should do so.
Good luck, and I hope you can get it to work.

I have a new Samsung galaxy and it paired just fine to my 2011 xkr and my 2013. I even managed to find a neat little bluetooth device called tune2air that plugs into the ipod connector. So I can wirelessly blast my play lists from phone through the awesome bowers and Wilkins we have. Maybe the best 20 bucks I've ever spent. Ironically I too have never loaded my phone book into my car
