In order for me to hear music through the car's speakers from my iPhone 5, I have to plug the phone into the iPod dock. It doesn't matter if I'm using a streaming app or going straight from the music stored on the phone. However, when I use the Google Maps for iOS app, the sound of the woman's voice giving the directions comes through the speakers via bluetooth. No plugin required. Does anyone know why this is?
