I'm happy to report that my wife's new android phone (Samsung Galaxy S6) paired successfully to our 2010 XKR. I was able to make and receive calls and call quality was exceptional. Also, automatically downloaded the contact list stored on the phone. Next I need to try pairing on the 2012 XJL and the JVC aftermarket unit on my 2004 GMC Sierra.

 

Did you expect anything different? Androids always pair well through bluetooth. My HTC and the wife's Galaxy S5 are flawless. My daughter tried pairing her iPhone 6 to my 2010 XKR, and it didn't go so well. No matter what she tried, nothing worked.

My GF and I recently purchased an iPhone 6 and she, an iPhone 6+. Both paired
flawlessly in my Venza. Being curious, I jumped into the '08 XK-R and my "6" paired without a whimper. Even up loaded my contacts too. I haven't let her in yet...LOL!

 

My Galaxy Note 4 paired with all 3 of the our Jags and with my '15 Stingray without any issues. The only time I had pairing issues was with my '05 XK.
