I know some of you have installed the Jaguar IPOD/AUX device in the early new body XK (2007, 2008) and may find this helpful. Connecting your IPOD is easy enough but if you are like me, had to use a RCA to 3.5mm cable to connect your phone in the glovebox in order to stream Pandora, Tune in radio etc. Not a very clean solution if you ask me. Now i have discovered a bluetooth usb connector by HTC that when used with a female 3.5mm coupler (purchased from Radio Shack for $5.99) allows you to stream music from your phone to your Radio via the AUX connection in your glove box. Works seamlessly!! If you are using the bluetooth connectivity for your telephone calls this will also interrupt the streaming music from your phone and allow you to take your phone call then after the call ends will revert back to the streaming of music after 5 seconds or so. Maybe I am late to this device, but, I just wanted to share with those of you who may be interested. Also, you can attach another car charger in the glovebox and keep it charged.

Thanks for the post. I have a 2008 XK and I have been looking to set up a Bluetooth streaming device. I currently have done nothing, that said, would you mind walking me through the USB set-up, for the HTC device?

do you have the IPOD/AUX connection? If so, then buy a RCA to 3.5mm pin cable and the coupler I mentioned from Radio Shack. From there it is pretty straight forward. Plug the coupler into the male 3.5mm pin from the cable and then plug the HTC device, which has the same 3.5mm pin, into the other end of the coupler and pair that HTC device with your phone. Then you will be able to stream. ***Remember you have to charge the HTC device (by plugging in the enclosed cable to the USB port of your PC) for 2 hours before you use it. Also, you can utilize the power in your glove box by purchasing an in car charger with a usb plug (female) and on it and use the cable from the HTC bluetooth unit to keep the HTC bluetooth device charged while you are driving. I recommend using the one in your glove box (of your 2007+ XK) because I believe it turns off when your car is off.
