Huh? It’s still there.

 

For me the new "look" with the need to klick additionally is much more unpersonal. I`m with Stuart.

 

The old "LIKE" box in the bottom-right corner on PC is gone, it is now a generic Thumbs Up button on the bottom left, expandable to see the 'likers'.

 

I prefer the old method. I guess that 'cuz I'm and still believe that if it ain't broke don't fix it.

 

Thanks, now I get it. Haven’t used a PC to access the forum in many many months, so didn’t notice a change on the mobile site.

 

Can confirm that the "like" button is still on PC. I can see it in the bottom left, and it is still just a click for me. Expanding the like menu to see who liked a post/comment is 1 extra click. Everything around us remains updating and everchanging - I can't foresee this as too big of an issue other than making people slightly change their habits. Not the worst change we have seen. Look at Jaguar.

If you literally cannot see the like button, try a new browser, even if temporarily.

And the whole "if it aint broke dont fix it" idea absolutely does not apply to computer software and what goes on in the backend. We are all using a nice and organized UI to browse this site while 1's and 0's are flying around in the backend. If it were up to me, this entire site would be completely redone. There is no reason to have half of the things implemented the way they are on this site, and the worst of all is the user profile control panel/detail editor. I think browsing the FORUMS on this site is nice, especially compared to most, but holy cow is managing anything in the settings/profile a nightmare. It's like using a computer from 1997.

this???? this needs to be changed lmao. We do not need 70% of these options especially when the first option takes you to the same page anyways!!!!
