Default A/C problem

My A/C appears to have just quit on my 2007 XK conv. Worked fine yesterday. I had the Aux Fan Temp Switch replaced along with the pressure Sensor in August 2017. Also replaced the cabin filter.

Cannot hear the blower thru the vents, so obviously the fan is not pushing out any air. No cooling either.

My question, Could there be a problem with fuses causing this problem. Don't want to spend another $1300 to fix what appears to be the same problem I had previously.

Can you clarify? Your blower motor isn't working? That could be your only problem. Does the fan blow when you call for heat or fresh air?

Fuse 34 and Relay 1 in the rear Junction box control the fan. I would start there. If you have power at the fuse, the blower motor has a resistor that can blow and be repaired fairly cheaply.

Search for blower motor resister.

They can be had for around $10 on ebay, same exact part
made by denso.

My coolant valve hung up yesterday but eventually opened allowing refrigerant to flow through the system. Been a while since it needed to cool beyond defrost duty I assume.

I wonder if there is a way to trick or rig the system to keep the valve
open constantly. Occassionally my valve gets stuck closed..

In both cases, wouldn't this be caused by moisture trapped in the system which is freezing up the valve?

What is the "coolant valve"? Expansion valve?

The valve is inside the compressor and is replacable, but you have to evacuate all the gas and recharge and drop the compressor to do this.

Theres a TSB on this posted somewhere.
