Default Can I change the Display colours?

I had occasion to use the sat nav in France recently and found it virtually impossible to read especially when using it in split screen mode showing the "list of forthcoming junctions" as the nearest, and most important, junction was shown with white letters on a light blue background.
look at the lowest menu option.

I've tried to change the colours from green theme to blue them but the nav stays the same.

Does anyone know if there is a way to customise the colours on the display?

thanks
Ian

Hi Ian,
Not sure about the colours but you can certainly alter the contrast and brightness which may help.

What's this 'green theme' and 'blue theme', guys?

For a long time I have looked at photos of XK-Rs and noticed that the screen graphics are predominantly blue, whereas mine (2008 MY XK-R 4.2) are green, which is not my favourite colour. But I can find no menu setting which allows me to change the 'theme colours'. What gives?

This feature was added to 2009 and later cars.

Ah, that explains it then. Seems I am stuck with green. Thanks for the reply - another mystery resolved.

yes but isn't his 08 in England our 09 here in the US? The default color on 07 and 08 is green not blue so he should be able to change the theme color.

Mine is one of the very first 08 models, so I guess they changed the settings to allow for a different theme sometime during the 08 model year and I didn't qualify. No biggie I guess, in the scheme of things.
