This car runs and handles so well hard to keep from not putting some pedel into it. So who has gotten a ticket while streching the your Cat's legs?

I have never gotten a ticket in a Jaguar. The big cats are pretty sneaky that way...

This, exactly.

And I'd like to take this opportunity to thank the CHP for their steadfast use of Ka band radar...

Sounds like you haven't got a ticket in the Jag yet. I have a Red Tickford LTD that attracts cops from all over the country..But the Jag can kick it's **** yet never been looked at in the Jag?

Grandpa's car syndrome?

That was the first thing I thought too when I drove the XKR (unaccompanied by a salesman).

"Uh oh....this car is going to get me points...."

It's very, very easy to hit very, very illegal speed without trying.

My only Speeding ticket in over forty five years driving was hurrying back across France to the Channel in my XK8 on 3rd January 2010.

This car is gonna get me a ticket-speeding-ticket.jpg

In a 130 kmh (80 mph) zone I was caught in a radar trap for exceeding the limit by more than 30 kmh (18 mph) but less than 40 kmh (25 mph) and fined 90 Euro ($124).

This was the lowest fine possible in France and very reasonable on the part of the Gendarme. We both know I'd been doing a lot more than 105 mph but he loved the Jaguar!

Not yet but man it can scare you how quick that Cat can Leap to 90plus. The ride is so good one does not realize how fast one is going! Even with the lid down.

Never got a ticket in either Jag. As fast as the XK is, it is easy to drive at a regular speed as well.

I haven't had a ticket of any kind (yet) in either my Jag or 'Arrest-Me-Red' NSX. In town, I drive the speed limit and on interstates & freeways I set the cruise control for 4mph over the limit. But on country roads and in 'BFE' ... watch out!

I have a K40 in my 12 vert. I also had a K40 installed in my 08 vert and the 04 XJR. All three installations are for front and back and have a laser diffuser. I have gotten one ticket where the cop popped out from behind a parked car with his gun and I couldn't react fast enough. Other than that episode, the performance of the k40 has been satisfactory. The whole system installed cost about $1500 split about 50/50 for the equipment and installation.

I got one for 97mph in Montana (75 limit I think)

I wanted to ask the trooper to write me up for 100 so I could frame it.

$75 fine was like a permit fee in Montana

Oddly enough I have never gotten a ticket in my XKR. Although for some reason I have been pulled over like 3 times in the last year (haven't had a ticket in a very long time). And wouldn't you know every single time I have been given a warning.

To make this even more odd I am a young black man! So much for the stereotype that the law always comes down hard on us LOL! On the other hand that could be precisely why I was pulled over in the first place.

Picked up one in my XK8 - sneaky sods put a mobile camera in a 30 MPH zone, 20 yards before a 50 MPH zone. They must have nailed hundreds with that stunt, because almost everyone tends to hit the gas when they see the 50 sign ahead.

But have managed to avoid it in the XKR 75 so far. That said, when I wanted to go fast, I took it to Germany: 184 MPH...

Thank you for the information, I really like the K40 because its hidden and out of the way. I never received any real world feedback so I'm glad to hear it works well, I'm going to look into getting one for my car.

Gonna get a ticket in the very near future... Problem with this car is that is so so effortlessly fast.. Never under 90 mph on the freeway (unless there is much traffic road work ect ect.)... Where as in my previous cars it took more of an alert effort to cruise at the speed..
