It's apparently only $38 for you to buy your own

Sure I can do that, but the joys of being unemployed and having to sell in the first place...'only' is more than I am currently making in a week....
Just lookin for a friendly soul willing to help if they already have access.

Not quite. I have an 07 XK, bought and paid for, that was to be sold to help offset the cost of a used XKR.
I bought the XKR as a gift to myself once I was free of child support (same monthly expense), with the intent to sell the XK.

Now a major shift in my life has me cutting ties to as much outbound cash as I can, and that means the $700/mo in car and insurance payments needs to go away.
You are kinda right, as I am tickled to still have my XK to fall back on, but this is was not where I expected to be when I bought the XKR years ago.
All that said, I try not to feel bad, cause having an XKR, even for a few years was a treat few ever get to know.

And truth be told, the XK is a superior car for me in almost all aspects. It rides better, it drives better, it sounds better, and I seem to almost resent that the XKR did not embrace those qualities. I hope maybe to someday try an 09 XKR to see if the magic remains with the 1st gen to the end of its run.

V

Thanks Tp10XKR , Ill get that to you shortly.
