Hi I was just wondering if anyone has purchased this carplay device or used it from Aliexpress ?

That item merely displays your telephone screen onto the TSD. It will be low resolution and has zero car capabilities on it. If you want to use it as a handy display only, such as using maps and such, it would work. Don't expect a lot and you won't be disappointed a lot. Only a little bit. The OEM screen does have terrible resolution.
It would be the lower-quality version of gluing a tablet over the original screen.
