Default Center cluster display fault codes?

Hi All,

Is there any kind of charts on the forums that break down possible failure modes for center cluster fault codes?

For example. “Gearbox fault” shows up in the center cluster but it could mean high temp, low fluid, etc. I was expecting to find more in the owners manual but to my surprise, nothing. I don’t have any codes in my center cluster. Just curious.

Thanks!

You need a proper diagnostic tool such as JLR's SDD, the car itself will not provide any of that information. Non Jaguar diagnostics tools may provide some codes but no guarantee they'll provide the correct or full DTCs.

The messages displayed on the instrument cluster are addressed in the owner's manual.

The OP seemed to be asking for DTC codes but those are not not viewable through the cluster, an outboard diagnostics scanner’s required such as SDD.
