Default Center console disassembly?

Could someone with access to a service manual please help me with disassembly of the center console? Maybe post a relevant page or two? I could probably figure it out with a hammer and pry bar but I'd really rather not break anything if I don't have to.

I need to remove the armrest storage, ashtray, and maybe shifter, to re-route some aftermarket wiring. Thanks in advance!

2008 XKR.

Perfect! Just what I was looking for. Thank you.

When they say "Carefully release the 8 clips," or "Carefully release 11 clips" related to the trim panels, how do you release them? Are they just a friction tab fit that is simply pulled free or is there an actual way to release them?

Thanks again!

Yes, they are just friction type clips; however, they are a tight fit. Plus the veneer panel is such a tight, flush fit that extreme care must be take to get under its edge without damaging it. Use something like a plastic putty knife for instance.

Good luck.
